Cancellation Policy

Ina’s Studio Inc. – Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy 1. Scope of Services By booking, you confirm you have reviewed and accepted the descriptions for E-Design, Consultation, or Furniture & Decor (FF&E) services. All services are non-structural and limited to décor, space planning, and furniture layout recommendations. 2. Consumer Protection & Cooling-Off Rights In accordance with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act (CPA): You may cancel within 10 days of entering this agreement for a full refund, provided no work has commenced. Work is considered commenced once consultations, concept development, sourcing, or design preparation begins. Your booking confirmation constitutes the written agreement; clients are responsible for retaining a copy. 3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Termination Consultations ($199–$299) Cancel ≥48 hours prior: refund minus $25 administrative fee Cancel <48 hours: non-refundable due to reserved time One complimentary reschedule permitted with ≥48 hours’ notice E-Design Services ($1,990–$4,980+) Fees are earned progressively; completed phases are non-refundable Either party may terminate with 7 days’ written notice Client remains responsible for all work completed, time spent, and costs incurred up to termination Furniture & Decor Procurement (FF&E) Custom or made-to-order items are final sale once orders are placed Non-custom items are subject to vendor return policies, including applicable restocking, handling, and shipping fees Ina’s Studio Inc. acts as a procurement intermediary and is not liable for manufacturer defects, delays, or discontinuations 4. Delivery, Timelines & Third Parties If services are not initiated or goods are not delivered within 30 days of the agreed timeline, clients may cancel for a refund as permitted by law Delivery, installation, and “white-glove” services are coordinated through third parties; timelines may vary due to supplier or logistics constraints Reasonable delays outside our control do not constitute breach of contract 5. Payments & Refund Processing All prices are in CAD unless otherwise stated Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period Administrative, third-party, and non-recoverable costs may be deducted where applicable 6. Dispute Resolution This policy is governed by Ontario law. Unresolved disputes may be addressed through the Ontario Small Claims Court.
